2nd FGCSIC workshop on ageing
On Wednesday 25 April, at the Residencia de Estudiantes in Madrid, the Fundación General CSIC held its 2nd FGCSIC Workshop on ageing, attended by Emilio Lora-Tamayo D´Ocón, president of the CSIC and the Fundación General CSIC, and Jaume Lanaspa, executive director of Obra Social «la Caixa» and director of Fundación «la Caixa».
At the event, the official funding award documentation was given to the lead researchers of the five projects on ageing receiving FGCSIC Proyectos Cero funding from the 2011 call for proposals. The speakers included the Foundation’s director, Javier Rey; María-Angeles Durán, CSIC research professor; and Ana Martínez Gil, assistant vicepresident for the CSIC’s Science and Technology Areas.
The event was broadcast via webstreaming on the Foundation’s website Fundación General CSIC.
